Blow to the Ocean

We have been glued to the news about the Earthquake and possible Nuclear meltdown in Japan. It is so awful for the people living in Japan. We are also selfishly watching because Korea is SO close to Japan. So far the smoke from the reactors seem to be blowing up and towards the ocean and not towards Korea. Hopefully, they will be able to get the power plants stabilized and avoid any more radiation leaking. I hope it doesn't interfere with our travel plans.

Our case is heading towards the DC embassy to get Emma's Visa appointment and picture scheduled. It's amazing I can track all of these timelines! Apparently, I can call DC to find out if they can see her visa picture in the system. We are getting so close!

I am taking Greta in for surgery in a few minutes. She is hounding me to eat and drink and I feel bad I can't feed her. I have left her outside so she doesn't get up every time I move!

Slowly working on the packing list. I realized I needed a diaper bag so found a bag that I could bring. I have gotten a few toys for the plane ride and bibs and some infants medicine.

My kids are excited to stay with Gigi and Poppa and keep asking when we are leaving! Leah keeps asking about her baby sister although I don't think it will sink in until she is home.
Davis is getting over a fever and a horrible cough and I have a feeling Leah is working on getting it! I think I am fighting it also for that matter!

We are finally landscaping our backyard. Our goal is to have it done by the time we leave. We are doing to small shrubs and having a landscaper but in some big privacy trees. It should look great when we are done. It already looks better and we just have the plants sitting back there.
