1600 Approved!

Our 1600 approval came today! So, in 2-3 weeks we should be in Korea! This will work out perfectly because Milon has accepted a new job and will be in transition to his new one so he won't have to take vacation for the trip.


Check out these hats/headbands I ordered on etsy for the girls. Leah was modeling them for me and Davis felt left out so he became the male model.


On a side note, Greta (our beloved :> 11 yr old German Shepherd) is going in for surgery on Wednesday. She has a cyst on her back that has ruptured for the second time. She had surgery in October to remove it and it's come back. We have to have a specialized surgeon to remove it. Think Cha-ching $$$. I really don't want to spend the money to have it done, but there isn't a better option. (well, I could think of one, but Milon won't let me go there :>)

She has an ecollar on now so she won't bite at it and it's slightly scabbed over but the second you take the collar off she bites at it. Take a look but beware it's gross!

Leah has decided her new wake time is 5:30. I am not a morning person so this is not working out well. I have tried leaving the bonus room light on a timer and a trail of toys leading into the room so she follows the trail of toys to play. At the end of the "trail" I leave a sippy cut of water and a cup of cheerios. Unfortunately, this hasn't worked. She comes down the stairs and I carry her right back up and tell her she can't get up before it's light out. It works, but she comes down at 6:15 when it has just started to get light out! Still too early!

I am going to try and shorten her naps to see if that will help!
